Issues experienced affecting Messenger performance earlier today have been resolved by Microsoft.
Messages sent earlier today have been processed through the sending queue.
Some users may
see an error message when sending new messages. We can assure you that this is no cause for concern and can safely be ignored.
Microsoft have assured us that they have multiple teams working on a resolution to this issue.
Messenger has mechanisms built in to it that ensure any messages submitted to the queue, for sending under these circumstances, will be processed and sent to recipients as normal.
